Our Choir Director is Tricia Kyte

 

Tricia worked as an accompanying pianist and music teacher for the local schools' music service. She was introduced to choir directing at a Sing for Pleasure summer school. She has since attended more courses with SfP as well as the Association of British Choral Directors and the Kodály Academy. She is involved with other local choirs and plays accordion in ceilidh bands. She is dedicated to encouraging everyone to feel that they can sing with confidence in the choir, regardless of experience, and offers music from a range of cultures and traditions, both easy-to-learn and more challenging.
